Audio Mastering
Our audio mastering facility is one of the most professional in Los Angeles and can compete with any mastering lab in the country. Audio mastering involves analog tube EQ, multi-band compression, Manley Mastering compression, limiting, sequencing tracks, fades, noise reduction, D'esser, loudness maximizing, sonic maximization, top secret mastering techniques, stereo image adjustments (define each instruments placement in the stereo image), adding warmth and depth to your music, making it pop (just an expression), sound easy on the ears at a high volume, making sure that all the strong parts of the song are brought to life and that the most important instruments including vocals are upfront and clear. The CD/music mastering process varies from song to song and genre to genre. A recording/mix by a singer songwriter requires a different mastering procedure than one by a punk rock band or hip hop artist. Fortunately I have experience in every genre; I have almost been mastering an album a day since 1999. I started this company in 2003. I feel comfortable mastering every genre of music, I listen to everything from Hip Hop, Rock, Blues, Pop, Metal, Acoustic, everything Indie, Jazz, Country, Punk, Jazz Blues, Singer Songwriter, Latino, Reggae, Gospel, R&B, Dance Electronic and more.
We use Pro-Tools HD system A/D D/A converters out through our Manley Massive Passive EQ & Manley Mastering SLAM stereo limiter and Micpre. Then we bring the audio back into Pro-Tools using our high end A/D converters. Next, we edit the beginning and ending of all your songs so there will be no noise between your tracks on the final CD. We will create a perfect fade out as well. Finally we bounce the audio to disc so that we can create a master CD-ROM. We only use the highest quality Gold CD-ROM media when creating your master CD.
