What audio cd mastering equipment do we use?
For cd mastering we use our 24 bit/192 kHz DIGI-Design Pro-Tools HD system along with a Manley Massive Passive EQ, and our new Manley Mastering SLAM stereo limiter and Micpre. We have one of the most professional audio mastering systems that money can buy!
Online Audio Mastering within 24-48 hours
We understand that you may have to meet a strict deadline and need your project fully mastered within a couple days. We are here to meet your deadline. All you have to do is send us your mixed down 16 or 24 bit stereo wav. songs between -3 and -6 db so we have enough headroom to work with. Very Important! Please don't compress or limit your mixes to make them louder. We use one of the most transparent and expensive mastering compressors in the world. We need your mixes to be low and clean with all the dynamics. If you compress or limit your mixes before mastering it will do more harm then good.
We will have them fully mastered within 24 hours to 48 hours from when we receive them. Since the stereo wav files are going to be too large to send through regular email, please use yousendit.com or sendspace.com and send your songs to info@audio-cd-mastering.com. Please zip them up into one folder so we can download your whole mastering project at once.
Must send one stereo wav file for each song mixed down between -3 and -6 to give us enough headroom for widening, tube EQ warmth and high quality mastering compression. Remember to zip up all your songs into one folder and call the folder your full name and email address to make it easier for us to download your entire project at once. We will do the same when sending the mastered songs back to your email address so that you can easily download and burn them onto an Audio CD. We do not accept MP3 or WMA formats of your songs unless that is all you have and they are not distorted. MP3 and WMA files are not a high quality format, they are 10 times less quality then a stereo wav or aiff file.
Preparing your CD for Audio Mastering by Mail
All you need to do is send us your stereo mixed down songs burned as DATA on a CD-ROM preferably 24bit 48,000 Hz in WAV/PC or AIFF format if your using a Mac. You can also just simply send us your Audio CD and we will convert it into the proper format for you. It is important that you do not have your mixes pegged to 0db. Keep the level down between -3 to -6 db so that you don’t run the risk of audio distortion. If you need cross fades or fade ins / fade outs we will do it free of charge. We have the fastest turn around time in the business. We will ship your mastering project back to you within 48 hours of when we receive it. Please allow 2 business days for shipping. Please include a United States Postal Money order payable to Ryan Clement with the exact amount shown in our price list. Also include the Title of your project and the song list in the correct order. we can include CD text so that the name of your songs will show up on the screen in most audio players. If you are sending a playable audio CD please have it in the correct order.

Song should be mixed down low and clean with all the dynamics. If the song is already compressed or limited to 0db we will not master it. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. We need enough headroom to work with to give you the professional mastering quality that your songs deserve. After your song is finished being sent to our email address, send us a text message to 818 445-6961 which includes your full name, song name and email address so that we know to download it. If you are serious and have a full project ready to go we will have your song sent back to your email address within a day or two. Very Important! Make sure that you mix down to a stereo wav. file. Level Should be between -3 to -6. You may need to bring your master fader down to -3 to -6 to get the desired level before you mix down. If the level are too hot we will have no room for widening, tube EQ warmth and our massive mastering compression.

If you decide to ship your DATA or Audio CD we accept United States Postal Service money orders which are obtainable at any United States Post Office. If you decide to send us your songs via the internet we can send you a paypal invoice. If you don't have a paypal account you can easily use your debit or credit card. The quality is the same either way although online mastering is faster and more convenient for most of our clients.
